About Us

Welcome to Musicians Circle, an organization dedicated to bringing joy and music to the lives of senior citizens since 2022. Led by the founder Siyona Bordia, our volunteers gather on a monthly basis, collaborating with community student musicians to create performances for the benefit of the resident senior citizen community at venues such as Care One Livingston Assisted Facility and Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Care Center. Together, we strive to uplift spirits and create memorable moments through music while helping young musicians get comfortable with performances in front of a supportive audience. It is truly moving to see how the music brings everyone together and creates a positive environment amongst the members of the assisted living facility. We can’t wait for the next performance! We welcome all art forms. If you would like to use your art to light up someone’s day and meet new friends, please come join us.

Community Service and Events

The members of Musicians Circle actively engage in community service and use their musical talent to make a positive difference in the world. In performing at various senior citizen homes, the members of Musicians Circle are also able to offer performance opportunities to budding musicians.

Siyona Bordia, our founder, started Musicians Circle in 2022 after being inspired by the performances at local senior citizen homes through her school’s music program. Siyona has been singing since the age of 7 years and has trained at Theater Steps School with Mrs. Lisa Villamaria Casia. She has also learned music with Mrs Rebecca Thompson-Gallecki. Siyona has earned numerous awards and high festival ratings at the NFMC, MTNA, CS Music and Hal Leonard events and competitions. She also loves to compose music and write songs and has won several awards in this at MEA and NFMC competitions. Siyona is a Section Leader and soprano chorister at the Auditioned Choral Program, New Jersey Youth Chorus (NJYC), Wharton Arts since 2022. She has been part of several invitational performances including 2023 American celebration of music NJYC concert tour in Europe, 2024 New York Global Music Competition Winners Concert at Carnegie Hall, 2024 NY Mets game at Citified, University of Delaware and various other performances locally. Siyona is a Section Leader and Soprano member at the auditioned acapella group in her high school, Newark Academy with ICHSA Quarterfinalist team titles in 2022 and 2023. Siyona has loved arranging music for her school acapella in the past as well.
